OPTION 2 - ON RIVER ROWING REGATTA EAST PERTH

Nov 28th 8:30 am to 11:00 am
Invitation from the Director:
“Hello I am the Director of Rowing at Trinity College in East Perth. We are holding a regatta on the 28th of November between 8.30am and 11.00am .
We would like to invite any Classic Boat owners to come to the event and parade under Matagarup Bridge and if they were interested could drop anchor along the edge of the channel we will run races through.
It would add to the event from our perspective as it would make it like the Windermere Cup or Henley .
This is the second year we have run the event and we have the ‘Little Ferry Company’ ferries providing ferry rides behind the race and any of your members choosing to come along would add some beauty to the day.
We would give the owner of each attending boat a bottle of our 50 year celebratory port. It is good. It would add to the vibrancy of the river and the new stadium precinct if any were able to attend. We will have pipes and drums and quartets along the shore and spectators on Matagarup .“

Please contact Phil Jurievich with any questions and/or to register. They want to give every boat that attends a free bottle of their 50yr celebratory port and they will reserve a spot for you to park. Boats that can't get up to Claisebrook, i.e., under the Causeway unfortunately will be precluded from participating but we have several boats that may be interested.
